The IV International Uzbek Cotton Fair, organized by Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held during 14-15 October, 2008 in Tashkent.
This event provided opportunities for local companies to negotiate and sign contracts with Uzbek firms and learn about the latest innovations in cotton production in the other country.
This also helped trade and logistics in Uzbekistan and strengthened partnerships and cooperation.
Insiders stated that many round table discussions with Uzbek exporters on bilateral and long-term trade agreements took place here.
It is anticipated that 400 representatives of more than 300 largest firms and companies from 34 countries participated at this fair.
