Embroidery threads specialist Madeira is happy with IMB

Madeira is more than satisfied with the outcome of the IMB 2009 Show in Cologne. This exhibition is an important indicator for the current situation and atmosphere in our branch.
Therefore it was really reassuring to see, that we haven't been faced with a decrease of visitors! We realized that many international embroidery companies but also textile and design schools, fashion brands, designers and pressmen came to our stand in order to get new creative solutions for high quality embroideries (which still is our key issue).
However our new idea to use Madeira's effect threads also for decorative seams, quilting, woven labels etc. was very well accepted by the visitors. Many of them were very surprised and they appreciated our input and inspiration a lot, taking advantage of our studio-like ambience and of the international Madeira stuff in order to discuss the many different decorative possibilities.
Concluding Madeira could say that again the IMB has been an important stage to present new ideas and to motivate as well as to get motivated by all important players in this industry – our audience's positive feedback makes us see the future with positive and optimistic eyes.
