The Industrial Development Bureau (IDB), which operates under the Ministry of Economic Affairs, will promote the high technology textile products produced by Taiwanese manufacturers at an exhibition which began from today.
The exhibition has been organised on the sidelines of the FUSE Textile Fashion Week in a joint collaboration with Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), the Taiwan Textile Research Institute (TTRI), the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), and the Footwear and Recreation Technology Research Institute (FRTRI).
Around 82 exhibitors from nine sub-sectors of the textile sector like garment, sweater, underwear, swimming suit, hosiery, towel, bedding, bags and footwear are displaying their latest high-tech products.
Besides showcasing products, these exhibitors will also sell selected products to the visitors at reasonable prices, which will also help popularize these products in the domestic markets.
