EEPC is satisfied with its performance in ITMA

Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), which received orders worth $400,000, participated in the five-day International Trade in Textile Machinery and Accessories (ITMA) in Singapore this month, informed Rakesh Shah, Chairman of EEPC.

Shah also added that apart from on the spot orders, business inquiries of $1.7 million for textile machineries were registered during ITMA.

Satisfied with such a huge response at the trade, Shah informed that products, which were sold, included boilers, soft flow dyeing machines, spinning and weaving machines, fabric inspection machine and needle look machines.

Companies from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam dominated the list of more than 50,000 visitors of the world. Indian stalls received the largest part from this list of visitors.

EEPC also participated in another international trade in Mexico City for three days from October 12; here also EEPC received good response and got orders of heavy engineering products worth more than $1.2 million. South American buyers registered most of the inquiries, Shah stated.
