“Swedish Style in Tokyo” is just around the corner – with lots of happiness, beauty, and – dare we say – style. Swedish Style is Happy Style!

Swedish Style Annex
Swedish Style in Tokyo 2005 is proud to present ten distinguished Swedish designers and artists in the heart of Shinjuku. Swedish Style Annex presents a blend of design work representing a group of designers drawing inspiration from a number of sources and using a wide range of materials to produce distinctive creations for everyday use.

Don't miss “Deras Liv med Svenskt Tenn” at the Beams International Gallery in Harajuku, November 3-14, 11.00 – 20.00. Clothes and pants – among other things – made from fabric by Estrid Erikson and Josef Frank.

Together, they present an exciting experience, serving the visitor with a sample of a promising new wave of contemporary Swedish design. The works on display each have a unique story to tell and by displaying them together, their distinctive characteristics are allowed to be seen in a wider context.

Swedish Style Annex is more than just an exhibition. Its essence is to show the creativity and potential of up and coming design emanating from Sweden.

The Swedish Style Annex is shown at OZONE Living Design Center and is open 27 October to 8 November. The Opening Party is held on 2 November, 16.00-18.00.

The designers will be present daily or by appointment.
