National pavilions are turning out to be major crowd pullers at the 5-day MidEast Watch and Jewellery Show, which opened its gates at Expo Centre Sharjah on November 15, 2005.

Among the countries that have set up national pavilions at the current edition of the show are Hong Kong - China, India, Lebanon, Italy, Turkey, and Russia.

Of this, the Hong Kong pavilion has the largest participation with 63 exhibitors followed by 23 exhibitors from the Indian pavilion and 22 from Lebanon.

Given that Hong Kong is known for its high quality and affordable gold and diamond jewellery and also precious and semi-precious stones, the country's pavilion at the show has become extremely popular with particularly those jewellery lovers who have a limited budget.

The Italian pavilion is using the show as a platform to launch unique designs of Diamond and Silver hand made Jewellery.

At the Russian pavilion, visitors are treated to the amazing Russian weaponsmithing technology with Gold and silver platting handmade weapons on offer.

Each piece is uniquely made and with no copies. This tradition dates back to over 180 years.

At the Turkish pavilion, a range of beautiful traditional and modern silver as well as gold jewllery is on display.

Exotic precious stones Jewellery is on display at the Indian pavilion and one really can't miss the amazing pieces of precious stone Jewellery from Japan right in the main hall.

The total number of visitors at the end of the second day of the current edition of the Show exceeded 12,000 general visitors and 700 trade visitors from 32 countries.

The visitor turnout is expected to considerably swell during the weekend.
