New: Expert Discussion with Audience
For Thursday, 16th of September 2010, at 17.10 hours we have foreseen an expert discussion (about 1 hour) with the audience. The moderators will be top representatives from industry, research and media. The objective is to question (also in a critical way) the findings and statements from the majority of lectures.
Research with Market Relevance gains Importance
Research with market relevance (life-cycle analyses of a product, customized and cost-conscious production) should be carried out jointly between industry and academic research. The aim is to show the younger generation positive long-term perspectives and to guarantee for the man-made fiber and textile industry will be necessary qualified future staff. One aspect of this is also to make the congress accessible to our students and successors.
The DORNBIRN-MCF in its 49th year of existence wants to offer a courageous impetus to manage the new challenges in the years ahead of us. We appeal to all decision makers to support actively our intention.
