The student competition Designers' Nest Show & Award August 2010 will be held on Friday 13 August 2010 in the fabulous venue of Bygning 55 right next to Øksnehallen. Again, designers from selected Scandinavian schools will be given the opportunity to showcase their graduate collections to the press and potential buyers at the CPH Vision Fair & Designers' Nest show.
As in previous years, an exhibition area will be made available for design students from the participating schools:
Danmarks Designskole (Copenhagen), Designskolen (Kolding), TEKO (Herning), Swedish School of Textiles (Borås), University of Art and Design (Helsinki), ESMOD (Oslo).
At 15.00 on Friday 13 August, graduate students from each school will participate in the Designers' Nest Show and Award, followed by the announcement of the winner and a tea reception hosted by Royal Copenhagen in the CPH Vision foyer.
The Designers' Nest Award is a collaboration with Royal Copenhagen. In addition to the exquisite work of art, the winner will receive a cash prize of DKK 50,000 and a one-year subscription to WGSN.com, the global leader in style and fashion trend forecasting.
H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary, the patron of Designers' Nest, will be present to hand out the prize to the award winner. H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary's visit to the fairs starts in CPH Vision at 14.00.
