Sara Al Madani & Apple Wang of Rogue Couture showcased their Spring/Summer collection on Day 5 of DFW. The label's fusion of Arabian and Chinese designs was evident in their abayas made of luxurious fabrics draped in ingenious methods.

Kaftans showcased included a monotone outfit with geometric prints with red sections of cloth running through the sides of the outfit along with a tapering gold kaftan held under the bust with an ornate brooch. Casual wear abayas with coloured bands and ribbon piping were worn by models sashaying to the James Bond theme holding toy guns. Chinese and Japanese silhouettes were incorporated into the design with kimono like necklines and Mao collars in oriental colours.

In a unique twist, abaya fabric was teemed with leather and embellished with gold appliqués for a glamorous evening look. Shorter abayas were worn over solid coloured jumpsuits to match the embroidery on the black fabric.

The fun personality of the brand came alive on the runway in the form of bands of skull prints running down the abaya with a matching pullover hood. Cowl sleeves were alternated with skinny printed sleeves as the traditional abaya was transformed into a number of international looks that were both fun and wearable.
