IFM has demonstrated, for 10 years now, that french fashion knows how to bet on on renewal and that France has an evergrowing capacity to attract young international talent. Each year, LE CUIR A PARIS supports and follows this project by exhibiting the final work. In February 2011, 18 designers will be presenting 60 prototypes (shoes, bags, clothing) done in collaboration with the biggest French and international fashion luxury names, manufacturers and tanners.
LE CUIR A PARIS' designers' space will also present the work of 5 new leather talents, French and foreign: Anne Lise Pernotte (France), Ilana Azeneth (Brazil), Cécile Pasteau (France), Marsela Carvajal (Colombia) and Ana Maria Lepoutre (France). Ana Maria's shoe production is based on business ethics and sustainable development. Handmade in Peru, a percentage of her sales is given to TANTA, a franco-peruvian charity for children.
