The Sri Lanka Fashion Forum begins from November 18 and will continue till the 22nd of this month. It is being held at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel and is also likely to back the clothing as well as footwear industries of Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka Fashion Forum has been successful in getting two resource persons – one from the London College of Fashion and the other from the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. Both of them are working in Bangladesh to support as well as reinforce the flourishing clothing industry of Bangladesh.

The country has the necessary talent and intellect to emerge as a brand-oriented fashion economy during the next decade. It also has the potential to lead the new international market developments. The one-day seminar and workshop on brand development is likely to focus the various directions into which the country's fashion industry can progress.

Two important areas have been identified, which are expected to strengthen the essential features that can provide the much needed support for the new direction ahead. Several experts from the world of fashion are likely to address the workshop which will benefit the fashion industry of the country enormously.
