500000 people visited the five-day Turkish Textile Products Fair in Tebriz while, 30000 others were unable to enter the fair site due to over crowding.

Tebriz is the second biggest city and a significant commercial centre in Iran.

No fairs were held here due to ban that was lifted only after twenty-six years.

Fifty-eight Turkish companies including Eser Denim, Akca Textile and Madoc Jeans participated in this Modaasia Turkish Fashion Fair.

The year long preparations included high level campaigning in neighbourhood cities like Armenia and Nahcivan.

The amazing aspect is that Armenians, who do not come to Turkey, rushed to Turkish fair in Iran. Majority of visitors were the Azerbaijani Turks.

Eser Textile Company owner Mehmet Eser expressed joy due to the response the fair received. He also informed that there was a great demand for Turkish flags. He said that their company intended to manufacture Turkish flags and t-shirts bearing Turkish flag patterns. They had also established healthy business relations.
