Taiwan pavilion receives overwhelming response in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong International Spring Clothing and Fashion Material Exhibition held recently got overwhelming responses from enterprises and visitors, making it a grand success.

This year, 210 exhibitors from 12 countries participated in the fair. Among exhibitors, 34 were from Hong Kong while 176 were overseas operators.

The theme of the fair was features functional and environmentally friendly textiles. It was aimed to meet the needs of buyers in these segments.

In the fair, Taiwan Pavilion was one of the centers of attractions with 25 Taiwan companies on display. It got on-site orders worth US $250,000 and commitments of more than US $8 million.

A Taiwan Textile Federation delegation of 22 members participated in the fair with representatives from knitting, towels and other related sectors.

Improvement in economic situation played a vital role in the grand success of the fair and the number of buyers increased over the previous session.

With a trading view point, results were quite optimistic.
