Runway to Fashion Week Competition for North West designers

The Inishowen Fashion Week 'Runway to Fashion Week' Competition is a platform for up and coming fashion designers from the North West to showcase their creative talents and produce a stunning fashion garment in the hopes of becoming the winner of a designer internship, cash prize, specially designed trophy and named 'Inishowen Young Designer of the Year'.
The final 12 finalists will be showcased at the launch of 'Inishowen Fashion Week' on Monday October 17th. The Young Designer finalists will then show their garments on Thursday October 20th at the IFW Local Designers Fashion Show.
This new and exciting competition is open to all second level students. The competition is an excellent opportunity for finalists to gain exposure and experience in this exciting industry.
Inishowen Fashion Week 2011 (IFW2011) is a fashion Industry event, lasting one week from 17th – 23rd October 2011, which allows fashion designers, stylists, brands or “houses” to display their latest collections in runway shows and buyers to take a look at the latest trends in a mutually beneficial environment.
