ENVS Eco-friendly Digital Fabrics, a subsidiary of Fashion Matrix Overseas (FMO) and a manufacturer of high fashion apparel has installed Kornit Digital’s Allegro, for digitally printing on fabrics and Avalanche 1000, for direct to garment printing. ENVS will be concentrating only on digital design production activities for high fashion apparel.

According to Kornit, its eco-friendly digital textile printing solutions, for which it holds an Oeko-Tex 100 certification and is positive-listed for GOTS, were a natural choice for ENVS which will produce high fashion apparel with SA8000 / WRAP certification.

The Allegro uses Kornit NeoPigment ink and process and is the only true digital solution for textile printing that does not require pre-treatment or finishing, and performs as a one step production line.

The printer, which is only seven metres in length, has a seven-colour process, offers photorealistic print quality and an ability to print on multiple fabrics without changing inks and practically no water consumption.

On the other hand, the Avalanche 1000 is the only DTG printer that prints on any garment, without any pre-treatment, which makes it the most optimal and efficient technology for high productivity and high quality customised garment printing facilities. (AR)
