At its headquarters in Monchengladbach, Germany, textile machinery manufacturer Monforts has commissioned a new complete coating line in its Advanced Technology Centre (ATC). This allows opportunities for Monforts customers to undertake trials with Monforts complete range of coating heads, under confidential and real production conditions.
Customers can now use the facility to do trails for coating applications like knife over air, knife over roller, magnetic roller and printing head coating options like, magnetic roller coating for lacquering or minimal application.At its headquarters in Monchengladbach, Germany, textile machinery manufacturer Monforts has commissioned a new complete coating line in its Advanced Technology Centre (ATC). According to the German company, the line caters for coating applications up to 1.8 metres width, printing up to 1.6 metres and magnetic systems up to 2 metres, while allowing tests to be undertaken for PTFE at temperatures of up to 310° C and PTFE sintering.
The centre also houses a full Thermex continuous dyeing range suitable for the Econtrol process; a Montex 6500 stenter for knitted fabrics with vertical chain return and equipped with Eco Applicator; and a Montex 8000 stenter for technical textiles also with an Eco Applicator. (AR)
