Exports of textile machinery from Germany to Vietnam have skyrocketed in 2010, according to the German Textile Machinery Association (VDMA).
Though the value touched only €34 million, the growth stood at an astounding 114 percent over 2009.
Spinning machinery accounted for 88.2 percent amounting to €30 million, with the rest accounted for by weaving, knitting and finishing machines.
According to VDMA, shipment of textile and garment machines started to rise strongly August 2010 onwards.
