Saurer & Jinsheng JV to offer cotton spinning equipment

Textile embroidery machines maker Saurer Management AG announced that the company founded a joint venture together with the Chinese Company Jinsheng for the manufacturing of program units for staple fiber equipment and components.
This deal will provide an extension of mid-range and lowend offer for spinning components and equipment for cotton spinning.
Saurer holds a share of 70 percent in the joint venture.
Jinsheng is a Chinese manufacturer of machines and components for staple fiber spinning.
The activities brought into the joint venture by Jinsheng had a turnover of EUR 16m in 2005.
The joint venture allows Saurer to further accelerate the development of the midrange and low-end segments for ring spinning machines in Asia.
