Belgian textile machinery road show in Pakistan

Some of the leading Belgian hi-tech textile machinery manufacturers are participating in a Road Show in Pakistan, organized by Symatex, the Belgian Textile Machinery Association.
 
The six-day event also includes a seminar on Textile Industry in Belgium, to be inaugurated by HE Peter Claes, the Ambassador of Belgium to Pakistan.
 
Manufacturers and exporters of cardwire solutions, electronic jacquard machines, customized sewing machines, warping machines, sensors and monitoring systems, carpet and velvet weaving machines, weft feeders and accessories, wireflex looms and weaving systems are participating in the Road Show, which concludes on October 13, 2012.
 
There are 45 textile companies in Belgium, which together have an annual turnover of €1 billion and employ over 4,000 people.
 
From 2009 to 2011, Pakistan’s exports to Belgium rose from €238 million to €343 million, while its imports increased from €234 million to € 267 million.
