Chinese textile machinery exports rise in H1 2013

The exports of textile machinery products from China increased by 7.5 percent year-on-year to US$ 1.17 billion during the first six months of the current year, according to latest statistics.
 
Of these, textile machinery exports to India were valued at US$ 240 million, showing a rise of 16.3 percent.
 
China’s textile machinery exports to Vietnam also increased sharply and were worth US$ 110 million, during January to June 2013.
 
India and Vietnam together accounted for 29.1 percent of the total textile machinery products exported by China during the first half of 2013.
 
The textile machinery export trade was concentrated with some Chinese enterprises, judging from the trade data.
 
The exports of the top 10 companies together made up for 27.3 percent of all Chinese textile machinery exports made during the six-month period.
