Embroidery factory goes up in flames - loss put at Tk10 lakh

Fire broke out at an embroidery and printing factory near Export Processing Zone (EPZ) area in Chittagong.
It was found that an electrical short-circuit sparked off fire on first floor of BHB Embroidery and Printing factory at around 4:00 am, sources said.
Fire caused extensive damage and a loss worth Tk 10 lakh gutting down huge quantity of embroidery and printing accessories.
However, no casualties were reported.
Four fire fighting units were rushed to the spot and the blaze was put out after one and a half hours struggle.
