Textile machinery sector to witness a sea change by 2010

If a country needs to strengthen its economy, it should bolster its resources of income and this fact is applicable to the manufacturing industry also.

Considering this, Chinese textiles plans to launch improvement in its machinery.

In the first half of 2006, Chinese Government launched a strategy to strengthen machine manufacturing. Textile industry is the buttress of Chinese economy, therefore, textile machines get more attentions.

Recently, Government has issued that the textile machine trade will receive considerable support.

It is estimated that by 2010, one third of Chinese textile machines will reach advanced international standards. There will be 50 percent of chemical, cotton and non-woven cloth's machines to reach advanced level.

The textile machines which are completely developed by Chinese engineers will occupy over 50 percent. And the export value of the textile machines will be more than 30 percent of the production value.
