On November 15, Fujian Provincial Sewing Machines Association was formed in Shishi city and over 300 enterprises have joined the association.
In order to promote the development of local textile industry, some local companies began preparing for the establishment of the association. On August 3, the Government of Fujian Province formally approved the proposal.
The association will help the local sewing machines enterprises to set up a special marketplace in Shishi city. It also plans to establish an industrial park for the same. It will further assist in improving the technology for the local sewing machines manufacturers.
In addition, the association is expected to organize special overseas expositions for domestic players. It will also facilitate the streamlining of management and production at the enterprises.
