The figures for lease transaction in Turkey have been quite surprising. Nearly 48 percent of the total lease has been made for the manufacturing machinery sector. Besides, the figures would increase if the textile machinery is included in the estimate.
Moreover, the Revenue Administration of the Finance Ministry also made the announcement that value added tax on lease transactions would be increased because reports prove that transactions are being made for purposes other than investment.
Of all the deals made, 25 percent were for machinery and equipment, 23 for construction machinery and equipment, 12 for Real estate, 10 percent for land transportation vehicles and 8 for textile equipments.
