Chinese textile enterpreneurs are in urgent need to adopt modern electric jacquard technology that saves cost and increases the competing power of the product.
Under the national 863 plan about advanced manufacture technology field, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University and other organizations decided to integrate the digital emulation color technology and the electric jacquard technology.
The result was a successful development of the electric jacquard machine with high speed of about 620 revolutions per minute and with about 10,752 big streak needles.
The most important feature of this equipment is that it can meet the demand of greater variety of fabrics, small quantity and individuation of textile products. Besides, the machine will also help in the production of value added goods.
China has acquired an independent intellectual property right on this newly invented jacquard machine and this will help the country go a long way in breaking the monopoly of foreign enterprises in this technology.
