Recently, experts predicted that India is an extremely promising market for Chinese textile machinery enterprises.
Latest statistics show that the Chinese machinery industry has been successful in penetrating this potential market.
In the first five months of this year, among 144 export destinations, India has emerged as the top market.
Reportedly, 10 countries, namely, India, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Bengal, Japan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Germany, USA and Turkey, account for 70 percent of the total textile machinery exports of China.
During January-May 2008, import and export value of Chinese textile machinery industry stood at US $265 billion, up 4.67 percent than the same period of last year.
