Roland DGA will showcase its latest digital technologies for integrated print as well as print-and-cut workflows at 2017 SGIA Expo. It will keep on display advanced eco-solvent inkjets for producing signs, banners & vehicle wraps, innovative UV flatbeds for printing custom graphics on 3D products, & state-of-the-art dye-sublimation printers among others.

SGIA expo, speciality printing and imaging technology tradeshow, will be held from October 10 to 12, 2017 in New Orleans, US.

At the expo, Roland will also demonstrate the capabilities of its TrueVIS VG and TrueVIS SG series eco-solvent printer/cutters, newly updated VersaUV LEF series UV benchtop printers, and dye-sublimation printers from the Texart family. Best-selling inkjets from Roland’s SOLJET, VersaEXPRESS and VersaStudio series will be on display as well, along with the VersaUV LEJ-640FT, one-of-a-kind UV flatbed that can print directly on substrates and objects up to six inches thick and weighing up to 220 pounds. Booth visitors will also get the opportunity to see other cutting-edge Roland devices for unique sign and graphics production, such as the new MODELA MDX-50 desktop milling machine and MPX-95 photo impact printer.

The company’s new CAMM-1 GR series will also be kept on display at the trade event. CAMM-1 GR series is a family of next-generation large-format cutters packed with advanced and versatile new features that deliver a whole new level of quality, performance and productivity. Roland’s GR series cutters, including the 64-inch GR-640, 54-inch GR-540 and 42-inch GR-420, boast top cutting speeds of up to 58.5 inches per second and up to 600 gf of downforce to cut thicker media with speed and precision.

In addition, the visitors can pick up a wealth of useful information and tips by attending Roland’s daily in-booth vehicle wrap, dye-sublimation and apparel heat transfer demonstrations. This year, the pros from Digital EFX Wraps will be doing live vehicle wrap demos on a vintage Rolls Royce Silver Cloud. (RR)
