'Thrivability' is theme of SS21 Munich Fabric Start

Around 1,000 international fabric, additional, denim, print and sourcing suppliers, will present latest material developments and innovations across 7 halls in Munich Fabric Start tradeshow, taking place from February 4-6. The season Spring.Summer 21 will be all about ‘Thrivability’ – a movement of flourishing respect for fashion, nature and people.

Some of the programme highlights include a keynote  ‘The 10 Design Pillars’ by David Shah, an expert led panel discussion ‘Future of the Textile Value Chain’ and a Li Edelkoort trend presentation. ‘The Nurture Room’ by Pauline van Dongen will share research sessions about sports and activewear, casualwear, wool and tailoring, workwear, intimates and outerwear. The FashNerd Press Lounge will present background information about smart and sustainable fashion in the ‘Keyhouse’. The ‘Green Fashion Tours’ by Fashion Revolution will explore sustainable fashion spots and stores Munich has to offer.
