Both sides held in-depth discussions on the procedural rules, organisational arrangements and work plans of the negotiations, and worked out a timetable and road map for follow-up negotiations, a news agency reported.
China and ASEAN had jointly announced last November the official launch of the negotiations.
Both sides agreed that the negotiations will cover trade in goods, investment, digital and green economy.
