AdvanSix has appointed Willem Blindenbach as the new vice president, integrated supply chain, effective November 18, 2019. He will be responsible for safe, stable, and sustainable operations across the company’s three manufacturing facilities, while advancing the company’s strategic priorities with operational efficiency and robust safety performance.
Blindenbach will report directly to Erin N. Blindenbach comes to AdvanSix following more than two decades at ExxonMobil. Most recently, he served as vice president of Mobil, and operations manager, EMEA, and held positions with increasing responsibility across strategy, operations, and supply chain in both Europe and the US. He has an MBA degree from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. Blindenbach succeeds Dorene Billingsley, who has retired after 35 years of service with AdvanSix and its predecessor companies.
