The first zonal fair by Apparel Manufacturers of India (AMI) in Hyderabad has been successful in fetching business orders over Rs 75 crore. More than 2,000 key retailers from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala attended the 4-day trade fair. AMI has conducted 5 fairs in Chennai, 6 in Kochi and 1 in Hyderabad in the last 3 years.

Retailers including Ethos, Geevankee, Era, Final Choice, Torso Shirts, Diya Design Studio, Big Brother, Hansi, Fayon Troupe and Femi Designs among others showcased their collections at the fair. These brands have been allied with AMI, since the last 12 editions.

"This is the first time we are conducting a zonal fair and we are overwhelmed with the support we have received. We would like to thank our chief guests, dignitaries, retailers and manufacturers for lending their unconditional support and motivating us to reach higher magnitude," Nikhil Furia, key organiser, Apparel Manufacturers of India said.

AMI bridges the gap between manufacturers, retailers, agents and suppliers and build a robust community for evolution and opportunities. They work in sync to add meaning to the entire value chain of readymade apparel market across India. (RR)
