Benzene prices declined in Asia on Monday (Sept 7) from lower upstream energy prices and poor demand in the region.

In Japan, prices were assessed at US$ 565/ton, down by US$ 10/ton or 1.74 per cent as against prices at end of the previous week.
In India, prices were quoted at US$ 570/ton, also lower by US$ 10/ton or 1.72 per cent versus prices at the end of the prior week.
