Asian benzene dips on Sept 14 from sluggish demand

Benzene prices dipped in Asia on Monday (Sept 14) from lower upstream energy prices, downstream product prices coupled with sluggish demand in the region.

In Korea, prices were spotted at US$ 575/ton, lower by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices at the end of last week.

In Japan, prices were assessed at US$ 580/ton, down by US$ 5/ton as against prices at the end of the prior week.

In India, prices were offered at US$ 585/ton, also lower by US$ 5/ton vis-à-vis prices at the end of the earlier week.
