Asian benzene prices march higher last week

Benzene prices edged higher in Asia in the past week due to bullish regional buying sentiments.

In Korea, average prices inched up by US$ 20/ton and recorded at US$ 875/ton in the last week, a gain of 2.34 per cent as compared to previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices rose a bit by US$ 10/ton and finalized at US$ 870/ton in the last week, an improvement of 1.16 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of previous week.
 
In India, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton and settled at US$ 880/ton in the last week as compared to the previous week, a jump of 1.15 per cent.
