Asian benzene prices march lower past week

Benzene prices stepped down in Asia in the last week owing to weaker upstream energy values in the region.

In Korea, average prices plunged by US$ 30/ton and secured at US$ 865/ton in the last week, a drop of 3.35 per cent compared to previous week.

In Japan, average prices went down by US$ 30/ton and quoted at US$ 870/ton in the last week, a declination of 3.33 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices moved down by US$ 30/ton and recorded at US$ 875/ton in the last week, a reduction of 3.31 per cent over the previous week.
