Asian benzene prices rise due to lifted buying interest

Benzene prices inched higher in Asia in the last week due to lift in the buying interest in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 25/ton and assessed at US$ 770/ton in the last week, a rise of 3.36 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices stepped up by US$ 25/ton to US$ 775/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after an increment of 3.33 per cent.
 
In India, average prices soared by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 780/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an advancement of 3.31 per cent.
