Asian Benzene prices soar last week

Benzene prices moved up in Asia in the last week due to lift in the buying activity in the market.

In Korea, average prices soared by US$ 30/ton and assessed at US$ 750/ton in the last week, a rise of 4.17 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.

In Japan, average prices increased by US$ 30/ton to US$ 755/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after an increment of 4.14 per cent.

In India, average prices improved by US$ 30/ton and quoted at US$ 760/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an increase of 4.11 per cent.
