Asian benzene rises from higher upstream prices on Sept 17

Benzene prices rose in Asia on Thursday (Sept 17) from higher upstream energy prices, feedstock prices and bullish benzene prices in US.

In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 590/ton, higher by US$ 25/ton or 4.42 per cent as compared to the prices on Wednesday (Sept 16).

In Japan, prices were spotted at US$ 595/ton, up by US$ 25/ton or 4.39 per cent as against prices on Sept 16.

In India, prices were witnessed at US$ 600/ton, also higher by US$ 25/ton or 4.35 per cent vis-à-vis prices on Wednesday.
