Asian ethylene climbs last week from strong sentiments

Ethylene prices climbed up in Asia in the last week ended Oct 2 from strong market sentiments.

In Korea, average prices rose by US$ 40/ton or 4.91 per cent and were quoted at US$ 855/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices grew by US$ 40/ton and were assessed at US$ 845/ton in the last week, up 4.97 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices expanded by US$ 20/ton and were offered at US$ 865/ton in the last week, an increase of 2.37 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In NE Asia, average prices went up by US$ 20/ton or 2.30 from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 890/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices mounted by US$ 20/ton and were witnessed at US$ 865/ton in the last week, up 2.37 per cent as compared to its prior week.
