Asian ethylene price expands from buying lift last week

Ethylene prices expanded in Asia in the last week ended Oct 9 from lift in buying interest in the region.

In Korea, average prices rose by US$ 35/ton or 4.09 per cent and were quoted at US$ 890/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices drove up by US$ 35/ton and were assessed at US$ 880/ton in the last week, up 4.14 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices pulled up by US$ 20/ton and were spotted at US$ 885/ton in the last week, an increase of 2.31 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In NE Asia, average prices mounted by US$ 30/ton or 3.37 per cent from its previous week and were offered at US$ 920/ton in the last week.

In India, average prices ascended by US$ 20/ton and were witnessed at US$ 885/ton in the last week, up 2.31 per cent as compared to its prior week.
