Asian ethylene prices drop last week

Ethylene prices fell in Asia in the last week due to sluggish buying trends along with ample of product availability in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices diminished by US$ 35/ton and assessed at US$ 1335/ton in the last week, after a decrease of 2.55 per cent over the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices drifted lower by US$ 35/ton and secured at US$ 1330/ton in the last week, a declination of 2.56 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices sharply shrunk by US$ 65/ton and settled at US$ 1325/ton in the last week, showing a drop of 4.68 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices moved down by US$ 40/ton and traded at US$ 1220/ton in the last week over the previous week, a reduction of 3.17 per cent.
