Asian ethylene prices march lower last week

Ethylene prices declined in Asia in the last week due to lean business activity in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices went down by US$ 75/ton and quoted at US$ 960/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a fall of 7.25 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices edged lower by US$ 75/ton and assessed at US$ 955/ton in the last week, a decrease of 7.28 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices moved down by US$ 40/ton and quoted at US$ 920/ton in the last week, a reduction of 4.17 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices reduced by US$ 50/ton and assessed at US$ 1000/ton in the last week, registering a drop of 4.76 per cent from the previous week.
