Asian ethylene prices move up past week

Ethylene prices marched higher in Asia in the last week due to improved product demand sentiments in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices moved up by US$ 20/ton and secured at US$ 1300/ton in the last week as compared to the previous week, an increment of 1.56 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices enhanced by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 1295/ton in the last week, a hike of 1.57 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In India, average prices went up by US$ 20/ton and recorded at US$ 1245/ton in the last week, an enhancement of 1.63 per cent over the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices surged by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 1365/ton in the last week, registering a gain of 1.11 per cent from the previous week.
