Asian ethylene prices plunge last week

Ethylene prices dropped down in Asia in the last week due to ample of product availability along with dull demand trends in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices sharply decreased by US$ 45/ton and secured at US$ 1250/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week, a fall of 3.47 per cent.
 
In Japan, average prices moved down by US$ 45/ton and quoted at US$ 1245/ton in the last week, a declination of 3.49 per cent over the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices marched lower by US$ 40/ton and recorded at US$ 1220/ton in the last week, a decrement of 3.17 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices declined by US$ 45/ton and assessed at US$ 1275/ton in the last week, registering a fall of 3.41 per cent from the previous week.
