Asian ethylene prices show mixed movement last week

In Korea, average prices kept unchanged and assessed at US$ 1185/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week.

In Japan, average prices assessed stable and quoted at US$ 1180/ton in the last week, over the previous week.

In NE Asia, average prices sharply advanced by US$ 45/ton and recorded at US$ 1285/ton in the last week, registering a gain of 3.63 per cent from the previous week due to tight product availability in the region.

In SE Asia, average prices surged by US$ 25/ton and recorded at US$ 1215/ton in the last week, a hike of 2.10 per cent compared to the previous week due to strong demand trend in the region.
