Asian ethylene prices surge last week

Ethylene prices climbed in Asia in the past week due to improved business movement in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices rose by US$ 15/ton and secured at US$ 1315/ton in the last week, a lift of 1.15 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices gained by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 1310/ton in the last week, an enhancement of 1.16 per cent over the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices hiked by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 1255/ton in the last week, after an increase of 0.80 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In NE Asia, average prices advanced by US$ 15/ton and settled at US$ 1380/ton in the last week, showing a rise of 1.10 per cent as compared to the previous week.
