Asian MEG prices improve last week

MEG prices moved up sharply in Asia in the last week due to persistent product demand coupled with improved buying inquiries in the region.
 
In SE Asia, average prices marched higher by US$ 35/ton and assessed at US$ 890/ton in the last week, a rise of 4.09 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In China, average prices advanced by US$ 50/ton and assessed at US$ 885/ton in the last week, an increase of 5.99 per cent compared to previous week.
 
In India, average prices enhanced by US$ 35/ton and quoted at US$ 890/ton in the last week, a jump of 4.09 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
