Asian propylene down last week from weak upstream

Propylene prices went down in Asia in the last week ended March 25 from weak upstream product prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices dropped by US$ 15/ton or 2.22 per cent and were assessed at US$ 660/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices declined by US$ 15/ton and were quoted at US$ 655/ton in the last week, down 2.24 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices descended by US$ 35/ton and were spotted at US$ 710/ton in the last week, a decrease of 4.70 per cent versus its earlier week.

In India, average prices decreased by US$ 35/ton or 4.70 per cent from its previous week and were witnessed at US$ 710/ton in the last week.

In China, average prices dipped by US$ 15/ton and were witnessed at US$ 715/ton in the last week, down 2.05 per cent as vis-à-vis its prior week.
