Asian propylene plunges from ample availability last week

Propylene prices plunged in Asia in the last week ended Oct 2 from ample of product availability in the region.

In Korea, average prices dropped by US$ 40/ton or 7.21 per cent and were assessed at US$ 515/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices declined by US$ 55/ton and were quoted at US$ 505/ton in the last week, down 9.82 per cent as against its prior week.

In SE Asia, average prices descended by US$ 55/ton and were spotted at US$ 515/ton in the last week, a decrease of 9.65 per cent vis-à-vis its earlier week.

In India, average prices decreased by US$ 55/ton or 9.65 per cent versus its previous week and were offered at US$ 515/ton in the last week.

In China, average prices dipped by US$ 40/ton and were witnessed at US$ 565/ton in the last week, down 6.61 per cent from its earlier week.
