Asian propylene prices edge higher last week

Propylene prices moved up in Asia in the last week due to inadequate product availability in the region.
 
In Korea, average prices enhanced by US$ 40/ton and assessed at US$ 950/ton in the last week, after a lift of 4.40 per cent as compared to the previous week.
 
In Japan, average prices soared by US$ 45/ton and secured at US$ 935/ton in the last week, a gain of 5.06 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
 
In SE Asia, average prices stepped up by US$ 60/ton and quoted at US$ 875/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, an increment of 7.36 per cent.
 
In China, average prices marched higher by US$ 35/ton and assessed at US$ 1000/ton in the last week, a climb of 3.63 per cent compared to previous week.
